COMMON QUERIES - TRANSMISSION COOLERS

For Big Brake Kits , Please contact us Directly

WHY DO I NEED A TRANSMISSION COOLER

ATF Cooler is widely used on cars which carry heavy loads and strong torque.
Example: Tracked cars, Supercharged/ Turbo Charged cars, Family 7 seaters and many more.

IF TRANSMISSION COOLER IS REQUIRED WHY DOES CAR MAKERS NOT HAVE THEM BUILT IN?

Generally, Cars do come with ATF/CVT Warmer unit.

The warmer unit is cooled by engine water radiator.

This Warmer unit is fine for cold countries typically 10~30 degrees.

As for countries where temperature ranges from 31~38 degrees.

The temperature of the warmer unit ranges from 85~95 degrees. this is where ATF and CVT oil breaks down.

The higher the temperature the shorter the oil lifespan directly affecting the transmission lifespan.

WHY DO TRANSMISSION FAIL?

Auto Transmission Oil's Job is the lubricate and remove heat from the transmission.

Transmission Fails when transmission oil is negated/ Burned.

Transmission oil takes all the torque given by the engine, the more torque your car has the faster the oil would be burned.

Oil Leaks

Over time the oil becomes acidic eats though gasket seals in the transmission causing oil leaks followed by clutch slip feeling felt by the driver.

Fried Sensors/ Solenoid

Heat, the main cause for electrical components. When auto transmission oil overheats it brings down compends in the transmission down together.

CAN THIS BE INSTALLED ON BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT HAND DRIVE VEHICLES?

Yes, Both Right and Left-Hand Vehicles are welcome.
