Founded in the UK in 1920 as part of the Automotive Products Group, AP Racing has become a world-renowned name in brake and clutch technology. In 1966, the brand made motorsport history by launching the first commercial racing disc brake system — setting the tone for decades of innovation.

Today, AP Racing is a trusted supplier to elite motorsport teams in Formula 1, GT racing, touring cars, and more. Their advanced systems, including the Radi-CAL and Pro5000R calipers, are known for delivering unmatched performance, cooling efficiency, and structural rigidity under extreme conditions.

Facility Highlights
In 1990, AP relocated to its current 6,600 m² Coventry factory, officially opened by the Duke of Kent in 1991.
In 2019, AP Racing unveiled a new 2,700 m² production facility, expanding production capacity and enhancing traceability, quality, and automation in brake caliper manufacturing.

That expansion included an Industry 4.0-inspired semi‑automated production line with smart-screen workstations ensuring assembly accuracy across seven configurable stations. It also introduced a state-of-the-art NVH dynamometer for detailed product testing.

AP Racing confirmed its status as a central OEM-caliper manufacturer within the Brembo group, enabling rapid product launches and scale-up support for motorsport and road series production.
